Hanlon Innocent

Hanlon is a versatile musician and performer hailing from Launceston Tasmania, graduating this year from the Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

During his studies at the Conservatorium, Hanlon played the role of Doody in Grease, both at the Conservatorium Theatre and in its recent revival at QPAC, as well as Tony in The Boyfriend. After graduating, he has appeared in Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s production of Symphonic Santa and QPAC’s Spirit of Christmas concert.

With a background in jazz and choral music, when he isn’t acting on stage, Hanlon is regularly gigging as a singer and guitarist in a vast array of contexts. In 2021, this most notably included as a touring member of The Australian Voices and as a featured soloist with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra for their Broadway to West End concert series.

Hanlon most recently appeared as Henry in Next to Normal.
