Sean Johnston

Originally from Toowoomba, Sean is a graduate of Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, completing a Bachelor of Musical Theatre.

While at Griffith University, Sean appeared in Street Scene (Dick McGann), Legally Blonde (Warner /Kyle), The Boyfriend (Bobby Van Hausen) and Kinky Boots (Charlie Price).

Since graduating, Sean has appeared as Danny in QPAC’s production of Grease, Sky in the Show Co.’s Mamma Mia!, Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio cover in Legend House International’s Jersey Boys, was a featured vocalist in Little Red Co.’s Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols and The Writer in The Head Bros. It’s Only Life.

Sean also starred as Link Larkin in Crossroads Live’s national tour of Hairspray.  Sean was also the guest vocalist for Christmas Melodies at Arts Centre Melbourne.

Sean is currently playing the lead role of Elder Price in the national tour of The Book of Mormon.
