Jelena Nicdao

Jelena recently graduated from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Music Theatre. 

During her time at the Elder Conservatorium, she played the role of Beth March in Little Women (dir. Erin James). Her other university credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (dir. George Torbay), Shrek the Musical (dir. Erin James), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (dir. James Millar) and Magic, Myths, and Monsters (dir. Joseph Simons).  

Jelena made her professional debut as Lizzie/Miss Mott in the world premiere of Jack Maggs (dir. Geordie Brookman) with State Theatre Company South Australia. She also performed in the chorus of Candide (dir. Mitchell Butel, Amy Campbell), produced by State Theatre Company South Australia and State Opera South Australia. 

Jelena also played the lead role of Stacey in Primetime, a new musical workshop produced by Adelaide Festival Centre and the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
