David Spencer

Over his professional career, David has been involved in all facets of the performing arts, but more recently as a performer and director.
As an assistant and resident director David has worked on productions including A Christmas Carol (GWB Entertainment), Into the Woods (Stuart Maunder / Vic Opera), Anything Goes (Dean Bryant/ GFO/ Opera Australia), Funny Girl and Jesus Christ Superstar (Gale Edwards/ The Production Company), and Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical (Simon Phillips/ Michael Cassel Group and RGM).
He has performed in numerous musicals including Fiddler on the Roof, Eureka, Mame, The Pajama Game, The Producers, Pippin, [title of show], Flowerchildren – the story of the Mamas and the Papas, Mary Poppins and Priscilla Queen of the Desert (understudy to Tony Sheldon). He has also worked in the UK where he performed in Chicago, Copacabana and Carousel.
David appeared in the Australian premiere of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child (Michael Cassel Group) and was also resident director for the reimagined one-part format of the production.
Currently, David is the resident director of 2:22 A Ghost Story (GWB Entertainment).
