Frank started his professional acting career over 45 years ago at the Ensemble Theatre in Sydney, studying under Hayes Gordon, and has since appeared throughout Australia in plays and musicals for most major theatre companies and leading commercial managements.
His musical credits include Grandpa Potts in the Brisbane season of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang , Gypsy, Beauty & The Beast ,the role of Doc in the Australian national tour of West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Titanic the Musical, The Barber of Seville, The Fantasticks, The Sound of Music, Showboat, Guys & Dolls, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, I Do! I Do!, Irma la Douce, , Brecht on Brecht, Man of la Mancha , Safety in Numbers and The Threepenny Opera.
Frank’s theatre credits include The Prisoner of Second Ave, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Dresser, Chinchilla, Wise Child, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Come Blow Your Horn, The Gingerbread Lady, Three Birds Alighting on a Field , An Enemy of the People, The Sunshine Boys, Henry IV, Paying the Piper Bedroom Farce, Money & Friends and the role of Saul in Travelling North, for which he won the HVTC Conda Award for Best Supporting Actor. Frank was invited to the United Kingdom to play Herr Flick in the stage version of the television hit series ‘Allo ‘Allo, after taking over the role during its Australian national tour with the original English cast.
His television work includes Home and Away, Murder Call, Police Rescue, Phoenix, G.P., Scales of Justice, The Last Resort, The True Believers and the film Dags and Mary.
